Le Phare, means lighthouse in French. Our association was born out of a desire to help Tourists and the Tourism Industry of Saint-Pierre and of Miquelon. Our association is independant from the Official Tourism Office, and awards a label of quality and standards based on a very strict set of rules.
In order to fulfill the requirements of the consumers, the members of association Le Phare launched since 2003, a Quality Charter.

For lodgings and the restaurants
Based on voluntariate and no obligatory
Audits are carried out each year
A label is allotted by a Committee
Renewal is necessary every year
The Charter Quality of Le Phare is supported by the Chamber of Agriculture, Trade and Industry with the support of the Regional Institute of Tourism and the Hotel Trade of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the city of Tarbes.
