Immigration
Citizens from the European Community (French included) : provide a valid passport, necessary for transit into Canada.Canadian citizens : provide an official photo identification card. Other nationalities : provide a valid passport and may need a visa (depending on the nationality). Make sure that any children either have their own passport or ID card or are registered on yours. Currency
The official currency in Saint-Pierre et Miquelon is the Euro (€). Banking establishments will provide currency exchange services. Most merchants accept Canadian (CAD) and American (USD) dollars. Major credit cards and traveller’s cheques are also widely accepted by most merchants. Cash machine available in St.Pierre and in Miquelon.
